MOMMY MESSENGER

This year I became one of the “mommy messengers” for Monica + Andy, one of my favorite new, kids clothing lines. I was extremely honored when Monica asked me to be a "mommy messenger" along with some other amazing working mommies in this city. It feels great to bring awareness to this local business that is built by mommies for mommies!

Last week we had a lovely, colorful "mommy shower" brunch at The Chop Shop in Wicker Park. We drank mimosas out of baby bottles with straws, and chatted about everything from family, to business to travels. Oh and we all got a peak at the gorgeous Spring 2014 collection! Just wait till you see it...

 All this liveliness and color sure did get me in the mood for Spring! I decided to give a big F-you (sorry not very mommy like), to this "polar vortex".  I paired this floral peplum number with leather boots and gloves to give it that little edge that I love! Although I still froze my bum off, it felt great to wear a little color!
