GIRL SQUAD
Last week was one of those super insane weeks with shoots, styling gigs and a ton of events! It's been getting a bit harder with this pregnancy to be on my feet all day, (I wear heels to work a lot and may be on my feet anywhere from 10 to 12 hours), then heading over to work parties/events...it's been a bit wacky for one human making lady to handle!
However there was one celebration I simply couldn't miss. I've been so excited for the Elina Casell by Mia Bossi handbag line collab. Ok so I'm a bit biased...part of my so called 'Girl Squad' is the creator of Mia Bossi, Janet Mandel. So of course I wanted to support her, even if it meant wobbling my preggo ass to her Blackhawks (yes you'll love this sports fans) Star-Studded Event!

One of the best parts about blogging is the friendships I've created with so many girls that have similar interests and passions as I. Most of us are mothers, wives, entrepreneurs with a serious love for fashion! However we're also "real" girls with "real" stories and I just love the connection we've all made.
So back to the event, I posted a fun gallery below so you can see all the wildness that happened that night. It was a perfect celebration. The bag line is gorgeous with an amazing price point and we're all so proud of Elina and Janet's collaboration. It's so nice to see two creative women get together, empower each other and make something beautiful. In this world full of hate and chaos, it's nice to sometimes focus on simply being together, uplifting each other and celebrating creativity!
What I wore to the event? Well, nothing is maternity.... so if you're not preggo feel free to get any of the pieces I'm wearing. I fell in love with this shirt from Banana Republic which can also be worn casually with leggings or jeans and because I love to layer I paired it with one of my favorite capes from Nasty Gal. I actually wore it last year for this "FASHION FUN" post. That reminds me, this will be another perfect bump look!
Of course the "it" item this year is the "turtleneck" which I've posted about last week and "OTK boots." I wore a new pair I just got from Dolce Vita, they are not very expensive and extremely comfortable I swear! I also love bandage skirts right now. Hear me out... they grow and stretch perfectly with my expanding body and I don't have to invest in new "maternity" skirts, which by the way most of the time aren't very cute and very expensive! This look needed a pop of color so I grabbed my 'red' YSL shoulder bag and I was ready to roll.
Hope you're having an amazing Wednesday everyone! Enjoy the party pix below!
