EUROPE PART ONE
Last week I hopped on a plane with the hubbs and headed across the pond to one of my favorite places in the entire world, Europe. I was especially excited about this trip as we were going back to Vienna, a city I briefly lived in as a little girl 26 years ago.
Vienna was as beautiful as ever. Clean, perfectly manicured, and surrounded by its rich history of art, philosophy, poetry and of course, music. It is still considered the music capital of the world.
When packing for this trip I knew I wanted to keep things light, comfortable and easy. Our trip was planned to start in Vienna, then drive through the fairy tale Austrian country side to Salzburg. From there we were to take the romantic roads of the Bavarian country sides to Germany.
With all the moving around I needed to make sure I pack light which is quite a challenge for me. I also knew that shoes had to be comfortable and ones I can walk in for hours, while still looking chic of course!
Somehow most of my wardrobe turned out to be in the black, white, tan, grey category with pops of red. Which was so fun and so versatile, because if I needed to I could always switch pieces out and they all seemed to somehow go together. It was also very important to be able to mix and layer things up as weather was rather tricky depending on where we were going. Up in the mountains it was cold and rainy and in some main cities it was a full summer heat wave.

The other great and pretty important items I took on this trip were my two hats. I loved the red one the most, I got it at H&M, I also found similar versions at FOREVER21 and look at the cool ones HERE, HERE, HERE and HERE.
Hats are great on trips like these and in general because if you're like me and are too lazy to hold an umbrella all day long, you've always got your big hat to rely on. Especially when you have crazy, unruly, frizzy hair like mine, it's a win-win!
