CRUISING CHICAGO
A few weeks ago hubby and I got on board the beautiful Odyssey Chicago and sailed the night away celebrating our Anniversary Month! I say month because we met on the 11th of July and got married a few years later on the 23rd! So it really does seem like a month of celebrations...which I'm not complaining about. I love to celebrate just about anything!!!
Now back to the sailing part... I think Chicagoans love and appreciate the city and skyline so much because almost 9 months out of the year we literally are cooped up in the bitter colds of 'Chiberia' or 'Snowmageddon', so when the weather does get nice all we wanna do is be out, out, and out! Fun fact about the Odyssey boat, they cruise all year round. Yep even when the lake is a solid ice block they have another boat break the ice so the ship can set sail. How cool is that?! I'm seriously contemplating on wearing something winter fabulous and sailing away like an ice queen, watch out Elsa!
Let's talk about this look. So you know I'm not a major spender on disposable fashion. I love my designer shoes, bags and jewels but as far as clothes go unless it's truly unique and amazing I rather not spend the dough. Fast forward to SheIn, a fast fashion website where most items range from a few bucks (Yes I'm totally serious) to mostly all under $100 buys. I've bought more then a few things from the site and I have to say the quality is pretty amazing for the price. I also love that most of the pieces have real customer reviews and photos to go along with the actual item.
