COUNTRY ROADS
My hubby and I took another motorcycle trip last weekend up to Galena, Illinois. It's one of our favorite mini escapes! I love to have a little country, peace and quiet. It's so nice to get away from it all.
We always stay at Eagle Ridge Resort & Spa, it's just so serene and beautiful there. I couldn't resist a little blog post on these gorgeous grounds.
So here's the dilemma...I could only bring what could fit into our tour pack and had to share the space with the hubbs. Our saddle bags where packed with rain suits and extra leathers just in case we had to survive getting caught in the rain!
What's a fashion girl to do with such packing limitations!? Not to mention I had to haul around my camera equipment, cause I never leave home without it...which took up half the tour pack. I had to pack light but also wanted to stay true to my fashion roots. Packing key functional, yet fab, pieces was the way to go. Think light dresses, tees, leggings, denim (that I wore on the ride in) and anything and everything black. I knew that layering with leathers, scarfs and minimal but strong accessories would finish this look.
