A few weeks ago four of our great  friends, hubby and I jetted off to Palm Springs and the gorgeous Coachella Valley. It was such a fun trip, and being that Coachella is next weekend I figured this post was definitely a must. I wanted to bring you all the fun you can have in this beautiful mirage of a place. It’s truly picturesque. Imagine tall palm trees in the middle of the dessert.

If you fly into LAX, which typically allows for the cheaper airfare, you’ll want to rend a car and head out to Palm Springs or Coachella Valley, which are about 20 min away from each other. We stayed at a  friends gorgeous house which is in La Quinta and that’s basically five minutes away form the festival. Of course there are a ton of beautiful Airbnb’s around as well.

First stop is obviously and always a must… In-N-Out Burger, if you haven’t been you’re missing out and I very seldomly promote fast food.

I also really wanted to stop by the famous Cabzon Dinosaurs on the way.  If you’re going with kids you can pop into the museum itself, if adults only this place is definitely insta-worthy!

Cabzon is also highly known for their designer and non-designer outlets. We popped in for a minute and they are amazing. Think GUCCI (but beware there is a bouncer and a line just like at a club, so plan accordingly), Saint Laurent, Agent Provocateur, Alexander McQueen and so many others.

Once you get to Palm Springs you have to check out the Reservoir Hotel. It’s a super hip hang out place with amazing Cali eats and a chill rocker-scene pool.

Our house was insane… here are some photos of our daily views. Honestly, I can’t wait to go back. We were on a gorgeous golf course, in the middle of the mountains. So picturesque, so perfect. Makes me want to take up golfing!

I have to share this amazing dress with you. It’s such a steal at less then $35. Unfortunately it’s sold out but here are some other killer versions –> HERE.

I also got a lot of questions when I posted on my stories as to what color lipstick I’m wearing. I’ve been living in the Ruby Woo by Mac.

Day two is all about the iconic ACE Hotel. You don’t have to stay at the ACE to hang out at the pool but you do have to pay an entrance fee. I believe it’s somewhere around $30. The margaritas and the food at the pool is so spot on and Saturday during the day there is a live DJ!

Another great place to stop by for brunch while in Palm Spring is definitely The Parker. I’m completely biased however because you know, my Adler obsession?! The Parker was completely re-designed by Jonathan Adler in 2004. It’s STUNNING!

While in Palm Springs/ Coachella, you also must make time to hike. First of, it’s the California way of getting a work out, without feeling like you’re working out. It’s also a great place to just recharge. After all being disconnected from technology and seeing how small you really are in the big scope of things, is what these types of trips are really all about!

Here are a few other looks I rocked while in Palm Springs. Unfortunately the pearl bikini is almost sold out. However there are a few sizes left here and here. The denim romper is from a curated collection that I’m working on and will be available for purchase soon. In the meantime, scroll down for a full stoppable Festival Style Guide!
