TWO PARTIES, ONE NIGHT

1

Last week was "Party Hopping" central as I got invited to the Dolce & Gabbana soireé held at the Oak Street store in Chicago and to Edrop-Off's 10-year Anniversary Party with famed designer Christian Siriano, who was also unveiling his new fragrance Silhouette.
Now, my first train of thought? What the heck am I supposed to wear!? I've been traveling a ton and working 12 hour days with no time to shop at all.
Thankfully, I found my gorgeous Dolce & Gabbana dress that I bought in 2006, yep... that's how old it is. Does that mean it's vintage?! HA! It's a runway piece and one of my favorite dresses I own. I've only worn in two other times, once in 2006, once in 2012 and now. As you can tell I very rarely wear things twice, but this gem is black (LBD) and very very special! I paired the look with a long haired moto jacket from BCBG and my new favorite staple shoes. Done and done!!!

DOLCE & GABBANA ENCHANTED FORREST
Here is a little peak into the Dolce party. It was hands down one of the most beautiful store events I've been to!!! It's no secret that I'm in love with fairy tales and all things whimsical. My entire wedding was mimicked after Tim Burton movies and my baby shower was all about Alice in Wonderland. Not to mention all the other parties I've ever thrown representing my childhood, and current fairytale obsessions. So, when I walked into Dolce and it transformed me to an enchanted forest, with a "The Last Supper" table scape filled with the most incredible Italian Pastries I almost died! The president of Dolce & Gabbana, Federica Marchionni was there and she was the most darling, beautiful and humble woman. Loved chatting up with her about my connection to Italy and all things Italian! A mini side note, I lived in Ladispoli as a child.

EDROP-OFF + CHRISTIAN SIRIANO SILHOUETTE
After the Dolce & Gabbana party my girls and I walked on over to the beautiful Waldorf Astoria to see and celebrate Christian and Corri! What a fierce party it was. The cocktails were flowing, the Siriano gowns were stunning, the music was bumping and the crowd was filled with the most gorgeous peeps our Windy City has to offer! The overall vibe was amazing and the pop-up-shop smelled divine from the Siriano Silhouette candles.
