TRANSITIONING FROM A TODDLER GIRLS ROOM TO A TEENAGE GIRLS ROOM

I knew that this was coming. It was time that my little girl felt her room was too kiddy. No more pink, no more toddler beds and no more plastic doll houses. This cutie was growing up and she had an opinion about all things decor!

I loved giving K the ability to pretty much design her own room with just a few guided directions from me. She knew she wanted gold, leopard, florals and blush (never pink), to be part of her decor.

We purchased all of K's new pieces from Pottery Barn Teen, Wayfair, Overstock, JCPenny and Target for the main pieces. However the icing on the cake was definitely the bedding from Bedside Manor LTD. Think about it, if the bones and the body of your bedroom is furniture, it's how you dress is that really showcases it. Right?

We loved working with Bedside Manor LTD. I basically told them that K wanted leopard and floral, and voila. They made it all happen so quickly. Upon arrival they also had the bed made for us so you can really see and feel all the bedding. The leopard sheets were custom made, so K thought that was so cool. If you haven't visited the store and you're local, they have locations in Chicago, Lake Forest and Winnetka. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgable. Bedside Manor LTD have budget conscious options and some upscale designers as well. I'll be finally doing a recap in January of my bathroom and I can't wait to show you the gorgeous pieces I picked up.

Make sure you continue to scroll down. I have all the pieces from K's room in the shopping boutique below. Hope you love the transformation as much as she did! For other interior design inspirations check out BERKUN HOME.
