THE POWER SUIT

Personally I love a good suit! Suits are not just for women going to the corporate work space, they come in so many shapes, prints and even the dress options. Gone are the days where you only wear suits to work a la "Working Girl". Today a suit can take you from date night, to girls night, to meetings, to boardroom.

I swear, wearing a suit can make you feel so powerful. I still wear my tartan suit from years ago and this pink number I rocked in NYC four years ago, I reworked recently to an event in Chicago. So yes, suits have staying power. They never go out of style and depending on your look, shape, you can always find a way to wear one.

I also love a good tuxedo dress, or breaking suits up and wearing them separately. It's just so much fun to play! Think skinny denim and a blazer, you can wear the dresses unbuttoned as overcoats and wear your trousers solo with a tee and a leather moto jacket. The options are endless friends.
