MOTHERS DAY SHOPPING SPREE AT CHICAGO PREMIUM OUTLETS WITH SUSAN G. KOMEN
Last week I partnered up with Chicago Premium Outlets and the Susan G. Komen foundation to continue to do More Then Just Pink! What does that mean? Well, I got a chance to take one Cancer Thriver, Nikki, on a shopping spree through the gorgeous Chicago Premium Outlets. I dug into my styling roots and helped this mama look and feel amazing!
It was such a beautiful day. Here's the thing, this type of work is clearly the most rewarding for me personally. It feeds my soul to do something good, and to inspire others.
Sometimes quite frankly being a digital influencer can feel so shallow. The meaning behind what I do is not events or gifts. As much as I love working from home and collaborating with incredible brands, having a voice and doing something positive.
Chicago Premium Outlets seems to share my vision to do good and is continuing their support for Susan G. Komen through their discount card program. Now through May 20, in exchange for a$10 donation to Susan G. Komen, shoppers will receive a Discount Pass, available at the Management Office, providing 25% off one item at participating retailers. Now, a little bit about our day! I met Nikki, a mama of 4, who's been living Cancer Free for 13 years, WOO HOO! We met at the beautiful Chicago Premium Outlets in Aurora. I love coming out to this mall, it's stunning and has some of the best designer and non designer factory stores. If you remember, I did a fun collab with them for Back To School.
Nikki and I had a great day shopping at Banana Republic, LOFT, Saks Off 5th and others to get her all geared up for summer. It was such a blast to get to know Nikki and help her chose the best pieces to update her wardrobe.
I hope you all have an incredible Mother's Day... I'm continuing on the Good Fight and will be walking the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure with my family in toe!
