LAST MINUTE HALLOWEEN IDEAS

The other night I threw a fun little Halloween Pumpkin Carving Party at my house, for my girlfriends and their kiddies! I love Halloween, it's one of my favorite holidays of all time, actually who am I kidding, I love every holiday....any reason to decorate!

 I thought it would be fun to put together a last minute costume idea. I was Frida Kahlo, and everything I'm wearing is from my closet with exception of the floral head piece I randomly picked up at Walgreens. I find that people ask me all the time what they should be for Halloween, and I figured, a little Halloween shopping guide was a must! Here are some must have fillers if you're in need for your Frida costume! However, as long as you get a floral crown, part your hair in the middle, put on some red lips and a uni-brow, you should be all set!

So, now back to the party! I love entertaining and gathering everyone together at my house, especially when there's a theme. Fall and winter for me are major entertaining months and we usually have people over with or without kids four days a week and I LOVE everything about it! I love a full house, I love laughter, I love cooking and I love to decorate!

I bought a bunch of pumpkin pie pumpkins, which are smooth and super easy to decorate. You can also bake the insides after and it's delicious! If you are not a mama yet and wanna do a kidless party, this is totally fun with your friends as well! So bust out the pumpkins and the vino and get creative!

I opted out of carving due to the mess and bought a bunch of stickers, studs, some paint pens and sharpies. This kept the mess to a minimum and the kids and adults entertained for a few hours!

Now, for the house decor! I have a formal dining room and love hosting all of my events there. Tablescaping is my passion. Most of my holiday decorations I buy the day after the holiday when everything goes on a 50% OFF sale! I stock up for the year ahead. This time around I also ran out to Target and bought a bunch of gorgeous decorations that match my house perfectly to add to that HALLOWEEN GLAM vibe! Some spiders, eyeballs and rats and you can be queen of your Chateau of Darkness!
