JAMAICA TRAVEL GUIDE THROUGH NEGRIL
After one of the most incredible family holidays I am back to real life... drowning in emails, trying to figure out how to dress in this cold, my kids are sick yet again, and I have no idea where to even begin to catch up! A typical start to 2018! But I'm not complaining...PROMISE!

However, I have to say, spending eight days with my family, in one of the most beautiful islands was really incredible. Somehow, everything worked out. My kids were literally little "unicorns" and this trip was basically perfection. You know if you're a parent that's not usually the case.

By popular demand I wanted to share my outfits and put together some shoppable looks for you. When packing for this trip I knew I needed comfort as I was hanging out with three kiddos, one of which is 21 months and who hangs on me pretty much 24/7, so string bikinis weren't happening on this trip. I will also add, that most of these items are now on major sale and over 50% to 70% OFF! How awesome is that?!

This dress is actually one of my favorites. I'm so bummed I paid full price for it, cause it's now literally $30. Only a few sizes left and you can wear it with a bootie and a leather jacket in the fall and spring!

If you notice I came back pretty much lighter skinned then when I actually went to Jamaica. Why you ask? Well, first of, this trip was full of activities and adventure. We did so much! Visiting a private island and eating the most delicious fresh caught seafood. Snorkeling and jumping off of cliffs at the famed Ricks Cafe, (I've been coming here for years and it was so amazing to jump with my little man, Natan). Kalista actually got off the boat and snorkeled with us as well, which was major since she's only six. Finally, Natan and I had a mommy + son day-date, where we went all the way past Montego Bay, just the two of us, to swim with dolphins! No cameras were allowed and I only had $40 so no pix of this... sorry!

Kids really stepped up their adventure game and it was so wonderful! This definitely wasn't your typical hang on the beach or pool type of trip. This was one of those memory maker trips... ones you talk about and reminisce for years to come!

For those that are wondering how we got so adventurous with a 21 month old?! Well, we are so very grateful for my parents! As many of you know, we're super close and love to travel together. We aways talk about how we love traveling with our kids and I always loved traveling with my parents. So, I still travel with them! I hope my kids grow up to be the same. My mom was a ton of help, so we were fortunate enough to take the older kids on the Ricks Cafe and snorkeling excursion.

As for the private island trip, we took T with. I was worried that she wouldn't nap and there was no accommodations on the island. No bathroom, nothing. Think the beautiful, wild, island life... very similar to The Blue Lagoon. We packed our little pack and play and thanks to a dowloaded app of white noise, little Thalia Sky slept like Mowgli for two hours under a palm tree, kissed by the beautiful Caribbean Breeze.... it was MAGIC!

This is what trips like that are all about. We barely had WiFi or any connection to the outside world. We were in the moment and it was wonderful. No electronics, no fancy needs, just us, our family and friends on the beautiful island of Jamaica!
