SMILE!!! It's almost Friday. I love a good HUMP DAY and today I wanna talk about FOOD. Lots of good food! I've talked about Woodfield Mall before, and the unveiling of their Dining Pavilion. A few weeks ago on a Friday, Johanna Grange and I went to a fun "blogger" dinner to check out all the new dining options Woodfield Mall has to offer.

I've been going to Woodfield Mall since I was a little girl. I grew up fifteen minutes from the iconic shopping center and just like most suburban kids, I was a mall rat!

I took my mama on a date, to go down memory lane. However, malls have changed quite a bit since I was a kid and dining options are no longer just fast food. Woodfield Mall is packed with some of the best restaurants, and is the perfect place for a family day of shopping, dining and entertainment.

First stop, Kin Fork! This place is all about BBQ. It reminded me of Nashville and had the best nacho's I've ever had. I didn't even realize we were doing a full tour, and basically gorged on food at our first stop. But hey, it was almost the weekend so calories don't count!

Stop number two is my all-time favorite, Uncle Julios! If you haven't had their margaritas you are failing at life! Just kidding, or maybe I'm not. I love their spicy margarita and their fajitas!!! MMMMM, getting hungry as I type. We finished off the night with their Chocolate Piñata which is so fun and so good, a must especially with a big group!

Because a Chocolate Piñata is clearly not enough of a dessert. We headed over to the iconic The Cheesecake Factory, for what else? Cheesecake!!! At this point I literally thought I was going to explode so I took mine home to the kiddos. It made the perfect breakfast treat with some tea the next day.

So there you have it, a little recap on a few weeks ago. I love my  Woodfield Mall family! It truly is a place I've been going to since I was a little girl and it's always such a treat to continue the traditions with my fam.
