DRESSING FOR A TEA PARTY

COVER

This past weekend, my girls and I had a lovely afternoon at Tiffin in the new, chic Langham Hotel. We celebrated a close friends birthday, (you may remember my friend Anastacia from my previous post), with a real tea time. Towers of scones, pastries, mini sandwiches and tons of delicious tea. It was a long process with many different elements but it was so much fun.

We started with an amuse-bouche, French for “mouth amuser”, which it definitely was! It was a shot glass of mint iced tea with little beads the consistency of caviar at the bottom, that were filled with jasmine sugar juice! They were amazing and a great way to cleanse your palette before all the courses that followed.

Dressing for tea time gave me the perfect reason to unleash my inner "Prima Ballerina" and wear all pastel pink! All the girls dressed very lady like, poofy skirts, quilted Chanel bags, and buns were a definite must! It was really a beautiful afternoon and I have to say my girlfriends are so gorgeous inside and out!!!
